A new Economic Development Strategy for the City of Newcastle
The City of Newcastle is developing a 10-year Economic Development Strategy, which will play a critical role in guiding the city’s COVID-19 economic recovery. The Strategy will focus long-term actions to help create new jobs, drive investment and promote innovation.
We want your ideas
City Plan will be hosting a workshop where you will be asked to share your ideas on what actions are needed to drive future economic opportunities to create a stronger Newcastle economy. As business owners in the region, you will be encouraged to share your opinions and personal experiences. Your feedback will help create a new economic plan to retain and attract people with skills of the future and create equal opportunity for all members of the community.
