This October, Newcastle and the Hunter region will become a bustling hub of creativity and innovation. Festival Highlights
The 2024 Hunter Innovation Festival features three cornerstone events:
- Innovation Conference & Showcase: October 17
- Innovation Roadshow: October 21-25
- Innovation Ecosystem Action Summit: October 31
Festival Themes
Each year, Hunter iF surveys around 3,000 stakeholders to identify the pain points, opportunities, and dominant themes in our community. This year’s themes are:
- Wellness at Work
- Technology
- Clean Energy
- Advanced Manufacturing
“Wellness at Work” is a horizontal theme that intersects with the other three vertical themes. On October 17, we will explore sub-themes such as:
- Raising capital through government, private, and crowdfunding
- Innovation in health and education precincts
- Talent acquisition and retention
