Hunter iF has teamed up with The Business Centre to deliver this year’s Hunter iF Startup Xpress to Sydney. 25 of the Hunter region’s start-ups and scaleups have been selected to travel to Sydney as part of Hunter iF’s Startup Xpress. The six winners of Hunter iF’s recent pitch competition will be pitching to investors as part of an exclusive investor presentation and all 25 startups and scaleups are seeking mentorship and/or investment.
The Hunter region is most commonly known for its viticulture, wine production, and tourism. However, what many people may not know is that it has been secretly transitioning into an innovative start-up hotspot, producing world-class companies like Viralytics that exited for $502M in 2018.
The region has a national advantage in supporting emerging technologies due to the unique configuration of heavy industry and world-class research facilities.
Investors will have the chance to learn about the region’s most promising startups and scaleups seeking mentorship and/or investment on the 17th of June at the Sydney Startup Hub.
